A variety of different electrochemical techniques, such as cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy, chronoamperometry and galvanic corrosion, can be used with the Octostat instrument that is designed for a wide range of applications related to electrochemical performance of materials for a prolonged period of time. In combination with a coin cell crimping machine, it is possible to prepare and test up to eight battery cells in parallel. Different electrochemical cells and electrodes are available for tests in specific gas and liquid environments.
