Karl Fischer titration is a technique used for measuring the water content of a sample. The sample can be an organic solvent or a solid. Measurements are carried out with a Metrohm 831 KF Coulometer in combination with a Thermoprep 832 oven. Solid samples can be measured over a temperature range of 30 to 250 °C. Karl Fischer titration allows accurate measurement of water content from ppb-level to 100%. Being a selective method, it reacts to water only.

For measuring water content in any sample. Our 139 Metrohm 831 KF Coulometer in combination with a Thermoprep 832 oven can measure water content from ppb-level to 100% with ease.
