Büchi: These small-scale, versatile stirred reactors can be used for a variety of reactions. These include olefin polymerizations (initial catalyst screening), hydrogenations and CO2/epoxidecopolymerizations. Gas feed is conveniently started via the ‘quick connector’ system. A thermowell is installed for temperature logging. Premex: These small-scale reactors can be used for rapid screening of pressure reactions. Heating can be provided by an external bath (e.g. oil) or multiple reactors can be placed in a heated metal block. Magnetic stir bars may be used for agitation.
