Compounder (mini)

This mini compounder is used to mix polymers or additives into polymers, especially for small amounts of material, typically a 5 g scale. The equipment used is a custom-made twin-screw compounder with monofilament head. Experimental parameters can be logged on the controller box. Due to the channel and a bypass valve, the residence time is well-defined. This equipment is especially suited for processing experimental formulations.
