Mono-axial drawn tapes / films

A drawing line is used for stretching films and fibers in one direction. This results in improved mechanical properties of the material in that direction. The equipment used is a Retech customized drawing line, comprising a draw unit with 5 godet rolls, 2 draw units with 3 godet rolls and winder.
The drawing speed can be adjusted per unit, the second unit even per roll. All the rolls and oven plates are induction-heated (in frames 1 and 2) and all temperatures can be regulated separately. After stretching, the monofilaments or tapes are wound around a metal or cardboard tube for being used at the customer’s facilities.
For a successful test a minimum starting length of 10 meter is required.
