The ultra-compact and highly precise IR camera has a large dynamic range for non-contact two-dimensional temperature measurements across a broad temperature range. It is especially suited for measuring the temperature of materials with high emissivity in the wavelength range of 500 nm to 1 μm, or for measuring temperature through thin layers of materials transparent in this wavelength range. Examples of applications include visualizing and recording the evolution over time of temperature profiles of solid and molten metals during various processes or observing heat development in materials contained in quartz sample holders.
