Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA)

TGA is used to determine mass loss of a material as a function of temperature. Which allows measurements over a temperature range of 35 to 1,000 °C in nitrogen or in air. A material sample of just 10 mg is sufficient for a measurement.

TGA measurements can, among other things, be used to determine mass loss in a material due to evaporation or degradation. It can also be used to determine the amount of inorganic filler in a material. For  more information about Thermogravimetric Analysis please feel free to contact us!
